It will disconnect the circuit automatically & initiate an alarm if there is any malfunction. Automatic charging current limit:

Set the upper limit of the charging current when charging your NiCd or NiMH batteries & will charge automatically till that value of current. This is useful for NiMH batteries of low impedance & capacity in the 'AUTO' charging mode
